Imetrum Limited
: The Imetrum Video Gauge provides state of the art resolution and accuracy for non contact precision strain and extensometer measurements. Quick and easy set up enables the system to make real time strain, displacement, extension, rotation and Poissons Ratio measurements on Composites Rubbers Polymers and Metals.
Simultaneous strain and displacement measurements from multiple faces of a sample are complemented by the ability to post process a video file previously saved by the system or from a high speed camera.
The Video Gauge has traceable calibration to BS EN ISO 9513:2002 class 0.5 and can measure modulus and elongation on specimens ranging from 25mm (standard dogbone) to individual carbon fibres less than 10 microns in diameter.
